With the burst of sunshine and unusually high temperatures for this time of year, this weekend is the best time to get out and explore some new trails. Reynolds Ranch Open Space is a great off-the-beaten-path destination that is actually surprisingly close to town. Just a few minutes south of Nederland, you turn off onto a dirt track (Magnolia Rd) that leads to some stunning photo opportunities as well as a string of great trails. There is one benefit to that large amount of snow we received this week, so while you are scraping the windows of your car in the morning on your way to work let this be of comfort. I have found the perfect snowshoeing spot for your weekend adventure: West Magnolia.
