More and more it seems that Boulder is at the forefront of innovation and business, particularly in the food industry. With the likes of Justin’s Peanut Butter, Horizon’s Milk, and Udi’s Gluten-Free, Boulder has sparked something of a natural food’s revolution. Joining that pack is Boulder favorite, Rush Bowls!

The Hill staple is no longer just a place for sorority girls to get their post-yoga smoothies or for students to grab a bowl between classes. Since opening 10 years ago, Rush Bowls’ popularity has allowed them to package grab-n-go bowls available in stores across the country!

Each bowl has blended fruit and juice frozen solid with a packet of granola ready to be mixed in. All you have to do is thaw naturally (1-2 hours) or pop it in the microwave (20 seconds) for a delicious and light breakfast or a sweet and healthy treat. At 220 cals a bowl, you can get your day started right. They’re all gluten-free too, for those who care ;).

My favorite is the Oasis (peach juice, coconut milk, pineapple, mango and Udi’s gluten-free granola) but the Yoga Bowl is next on my list (mango, pineapple, banana, green tea, organic vanilla soy milk and Udi’s gluten-free granola).

They pack easily so you can throw on into your bag or car for lunch and it’s ready to go when you need. The retail store on the hill isn’t the only place you can get them! They’re available at Whole Foods on Pearl St., Costco, and other places. Check out there retail locator on their website for more HERE!

For $3.99 a bowl, you can’t afford to not make it a part of your morning routine! Look for it at your local Whole Foods.
