Mountain Lions Prowl Streets of Boulder Due to Social Distancing

As humans are staying indoors  and having less contact with wildlife, officials are unsure of what this means for animals that are getting used to this new routine.

Pictures of mountain lions freely roaming the streets of Boulder have been posted on social media, and the police have confirmed they have been getting calls about the animals as well.

Officials have said that wildlife activity does generally increase this time of year, but they are unsure if the quarantining will affect the animals’ patterns long-term.
