Boulder April Real Estate Summary–Boulder Retains History of Quick Recovery from Recessions

Give Mark a call today to make a reliable long-term investment! 303.589.2677

I hope all of you and your families are in good health and good spirits. Below I have included April market data for Boulder and Boulder County. The numbers are down from last year, and past performance is no guarantee of future performance, but Boulder County Real Estate has a history of weathering recent recessions and recovering more quickly than other places throughout the US. Boulder remains a small town with an active lifestyle, and the university cranks out a highly educated workforce so major companies want to base here. Open space surrounds the city and 300 days of sunshine a year makes the area a highly desirable place to live.

Many sellers of residential real estate are deciding to wait on the crisis from the sidelines, adding to an already existing low inventory environment. Activity has been very decent, especially with properties priced below a million dollars. The stock market’s volatility will push many investors to a more reliable long-term asset, like a condo or home. Interest rates remain low and with a tight housing supply, I still believe the Boulder area is and will continue to be an outstanding investment.
Thank you for all your referrals, and if you or anyone you know is looking to buy or sell in Boulder, or just looking for additional information, I am here and available to help with any housing or real estate needs.
Stay Safe,
Mark
