Boulder is about to get a whole lot hotter—and we’re not talking about the weather. From August 7 through August 10, 2025, the Colorado Brazil Fest brings an explosion of music, dance, and culture to the iconic Boulder Bandshell, turning the heart of the city into a stage for one of the state’s most electric cultural celebrations.

Presented by the Boulder Samba School, this four-day festival is the largest of its kind in Colorado and draws over a thousand attendees annually. It’s more than just entertainment—it’s a high-energy, immersive experience into the soul of Brazil.

Expect Live Music, Samba Dancing, and Carnaval Vibes

The real action kicks off on Friday, August 8, and Saturday, August 9, when the Bandshell comes alive with back-to-back performances. Headliners include Gisele Duquè and Band Ginga, alongside powerhouse dancers like Dandha da Hora and the percussive magic of Bateria Alegria and Escola de Samba Denver. Expect an evening of music that moves your feet and energy that ignites your spirit.

Before the performances, attendees can join group samba lessons, starting around 5:00 PM, led by the Escola de Samba instructors. It’s a perfect chance to get moving, whether you’re a seasoned dancer or a curious beginner30.
