CU Boulder Unveils Stunning Botanical Prints in a Unique Art & Science Display

A stunning aerial view of Boulder, Colorado, showcasing the University of Colorado campus against the breathtaking backdrop of the Rocky Mountains

The CU Museum of Natural History is inviting the Boulder community to explore a unique blend of art and science with its latest exhibition, the Botanical Print Exchange. This free event showcases 18 original prints, each inspired by specimens from the CU Herbarium, one of the most comprehensive plant collections in the region.

The exhibition, currently on display in the BioLounge Gallery at Henderson, offers visitors an engaging experience that merges botanical research with creative expression. Curated by Tristen Luken, an Exhibitions and Public Programming Specialist, the collection reflects her passion for bringing scientific collections to life through visual storytelling. As part of her internship at the CU Museum, Luken organized this project to highlight the beauty and significance of plant specimens housed in the herbarium.
