4th of July Weekend in Boulder County
Ring in summer this holiday weekend for the 4th of July! There will be plenty of fun for all in the sun throughout the entire county of Boulder. Ignore the thunderstorms for they wont stay long, and it will still be plenty warm to stay outside!
Saturday, The 4th of July
Get your rest and then pack up your essentials for the Nederland Old Fashioned Fireworks and Festival. Nederland Fire Protection District will be hosting the annual barrel races and Big Little will be on hand for some live music. Bask in the gorgeous mountain scenery of Nederland while engaging in the various events and games being offered. There will be no fireworks on account of the fire ban, but that doesn’t mean you can’t have fun!

Location: Guerico Ball Field, Nederland.
Drive down from the mountains and into town for the 4th of July Beer and Music Fest in Westminster. Live music will start at 2:30pm and will go until 9:30pm, in addition to the Westminster City Fireworks Display.
Get some grub from Fajita Junction and The Dog Haus, grab a brew from the brewery, and take a load off!

Sunday, July 5
Take advantage of living in the green lushness of Colorado with the Dances with Branches Recreational Tree Climbing. Novices and experts alike are encouraged to come, and gloves are strongly recommended.
Climbers are asked to arrive promptly at 12:30pm, and all minors must be accompanied by an adult. Drop-offs are not allowed.
Time: 12:30pm
Cost: $35 for residents, $45 for non-residents
Location: Waneka Lake Park, Lafayette.
Continue enjoying the holiday weekend at the Boulder Art and Jazz Festival. This event is free to the public and is part of the 4th of July weekend events.
Live music, art displays, and various foods will be available on the walk at Pearl Street Mall.
