Jenae is a kennel tech at a Veterinary Hospital here in Boulder. She cares for all types of animals – taking them out for walks, cleaning them, feeding them etc. She started working there this past January. When I asked her why she took the job, she told me that it was because of her love for animals. Jenae grew up on a farm here in Colorado and has been surrounded by animals her whole life. Currently, she’s living in Boulder and studying at CU, but her current apartment doesn’t allow tenants to have pets. Thankfully, she gets her fix at work.
