Local Author of the Jitters Children’s Books Series to Read Her Newly Released Book, Sick Day Jitters
BOULDER, CO, October 2023 – Boulder Country Day School (BCD) and The Wandering Jellyfish Bookstore will host “Storytime with Children’s Author Julie Danneberg” on Saturday, October 21st from 10:00am-11:30am. This event is free and open to the public.
Children will be entertained by Julie Danneberg’s reading of her just released book, Sick Day Jitters, and associated art projects. Adults will hear from BCD educators on best practices in early elementary literacy instruction to learn helpful benchmarking signs to watch for and steps they can take to ensure their child(ren) is on track and advancing during their foundational years. This event is for parents or caregivers and children currently in PK-2nd grade.
Parents, teachers, and children love the Jitters books for the fun and playful way they tackle social-emotional growth lessons with laugh-out-loud antics, and heartwarming storylines. Jitters books will be available for purchase on site.
Adults and children will be in separate rooms for this event. Supervision will be provided.
