Nederland’s Carousel of Happiness Halloween!

Western Boulder County, Nederland, is home to the Carousel of Happiness. And on Halloween, this most special carousel hosts Halloween costumes and merry-go-round riders from throughout the front range.

The Carousel of Happiness is a Nederland hidden gem and a destination tourist attraction.  The fantastical hand-carved and hand-painted animals and the historic restored mechanism and wheel provide a treat for the eyes and a ride for the entire body. With music provided by an antique Wurlitzer “organ,” this giant wheel at 8250′ or 2500 meters thrills all!!!

October 31, 2024, from 4-8 PM, the colorful carousel will sport animals in costume. Visitors in costume ride for $2 instead of the normal super-bargain of $3.  This gives a great excuse to visit the magical wheel as a pre-trick-or-treat adventure. Nederland will be ready to great candy collectors, as will of course the rest of Boulder County!
