Boulder Weekend Events
Saturday, September 19
Today is one of the rare $5 Days at the Butterfly and Insect Center, so you won’t want to miss out. The center features an array of various insects and other creatures for patrons to interact with and occasionally hold in their own hands! I will be missing out on holding a tarantula (scary) but don’t let your fear hold you back from experiencing the Butterfly Pavilion and all of its amenities! Enjoy all of the creatures Mother Nature has provided us to learn about.
Time: 9am
Cost: $5
Location: Butterfly and Insect Pavilion, Westminster.
An eclectic musical performance will kick off the first time Boulder will be hosting the Jaipur Literature Festival. Although higher in price than many events being hosted locally, this event will not disappoint as it boasts the involvement of hundreds of authors and their works from around the world. Come one, come all; bring an open mind and heart to this once-in-a-lifetime event! Admission is free, but registration to attend is mandatory.
