THC infused beverages offer several advantages for tourists who want to enjoy cannabis in a convenient, controlled way while on vacation. Here are a few key benefits:

DOWNSIDES!  Beverages are not perfect! At 3 joints per one 12 oz can of “soda,” it is easy to consume a large dose. So start small, with perhaps 2 oz, or 1/6th of a can of beverage. A good dose for an inexperienced user might be 1/3 of a can of liquid. Experiment carefully and DO NOT DRIVE!!! The buzz is not the same as the “normal” edible buzz. It can be WAY STRONGER!!! Additionally, the beverages have only THC (for the KEEF brand) while lacking the other cannabinoids. I personally like all of the cannabinoids including CBD. For a compromise, KEEF is wonderful. The buzz is “clean,” not anxiety producing, fast acting, reasonably priced and available over-the-counter at dispensaries. I get mine a Republic Dispensary in Lafayette, Colorado, my neighborhood marijuana store. Their quality is highest, cost is low, and service is informed and friendly. Remember it is cash or debit card only.

The buzz from THC edibles is not the same as that from other forms of marijuana. By eating the marijuana, the 100+ chemicals created by combustion are simply not created. That matters because many of the combustion by-product chemicals are harmful, including known carcinogens. Not only do many of these “bonus” chemicals act psychoactively,  many are harmful. Instead of the straight-forward marijuana buzz, we are presented with a buzz that is unique to edibles. It is more “pure,” perhaps “cleaner” than other marijuana buzzes,
