There is a great respect and appreciation for the public land here in Colorado, and the majority of Colorado voters in 2016 “opposed efforts to turn national public lands over to the state.” (Conservation Colorado 2016). It was around noon on Monday, November 10th when snow blanketed Boulder. This frigid snow blanket, which coated Boulder after a morning high of 66° F, took many residents by surprise.
