The University of Colorado Boulder was originally founded in 1876, five months before Colorado officially became a U.S. state, and now in 2014 the university boasts over 30,000 faces that have come to Boulder from all over the world.

The AboutBoulder photography team, including Joe Wirth and Travis Bildahl, explored the best spots across CU-Boulder for only just a handful of days and met some of the people that help make Boulder the number one American college town.

CU-Boulder's campus is place for more than just students. Dr. Lynn Lawerence and her fiancee Eric met last year on Valentine's Day and are getting married on the holiday next year. Lynn told me, "It's so nice to find love at 65." (Photo: Joseph Wirth)
