Marshall Cody grew up in Hilton Head Island in Coastal South Carolina before moving to Boone, North Carolina to attend Appalachian State University where he studied Journalism and Technical photography. After graduating Marshall spent about 8 months traveling all over the United States experiencing all the life and culture that lies deep in the heart of America. Most recently he moved to Boulder from Salt Lake City, Utah where he enjoyed winter among the Wasatch Mountains. He is now pursuing his passions in writing, fine art photography, design and music. A classically trained jazz percussionist turned lead guitarist, Marshall plans to take full advantage of all Boulder has to offer and experience the rich life and diversity of this amazing town.

Many of the participants are elderly or senior citizens who love to get together and play their djembes. Meet Lucille! Lucille Goldin is 95-years-old and loves to play her djembe. She has been playing her drum for the last nine years and plays with the Front Range Djembe Orchestra, led by Greg Hansen. Members of the Djembe orchestra range from ages ten to 100 and get together regularly around Lewisville, Boulder, Longmont and Loveland. Today they took to Pearl St. with a roar of thunder and applause with close to 50 participants.
