Family-owned coffee roastery and grab-and-go eatery now open

Avanti Food & Beverage (Avanti) Boulder is excited to announce that Bona Coffee Roasters is now open. This is Bona’s second location in the Boulder area. Bona took over the space previously occupied by Lost City on Avanti’s first floor.

“We’ve been roasting coffee in Boulder for the past seven years, primarily through our roastery, which focuses on online sales, subscriptions, wholesale, and coffee classes. For the last four years, we’ve also operated a coffee shop at Sanitas Brewing Co.,” said Andre Di Bonaventura, CEO and co-founder of Bona Coffee Roasters. “We’re thrilled to expand our presence in the community with this new location. We believe Avanti’s guests will be just as excited as we are about our coffee, juices, pastries, açaí bowls, and breakfast options that are both satisfying and healthy. Being located on Pearl Street, alongside six other innovative culinary concepts, offers a fantastic opportunity to share our delicious coffee, food, and Brazilian heritage with even more people.”

Bona’s owners, Andre Di Bonaventura and Vanessa Rossi, are from Brazil and take pride in meticulously sourcing the finest coffee beans from passionate growers worldwide, ensuring peak freshness and maximum flavor. In addition to a full-service coffee bar, Bona offers freshly squeezed juices, açaí bowls, European pastries, and authentic Brazilian cheese bread, pão de queijo. A highlight of their menu is their signature Whiskey Aged Coffee, aged in bourbon barrels from Boulder Spirits and served black or as their unique “drunken latte.”

Bona Coffee Roasters is open Monday through Saturday from 7 a.m. to 6 p.m. and Sundays from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. The coffee shop joins the other concepts within the Avanti Boulder collective, including Boychik, Peko Peko, Mangia Panino, New Yorkese, Rooted Craft Kitchen, and Quiero Arepas.
