Can’t I Get Some Privacy In My Bath???

Lorikeets Are Not Uncommon in Zoos, And Are Always COOL Looking! This Bird Has Just Bathed. Or Taken A Hot Tub Soak.

I Am SO Cute After A Bath!

Lorikeets, vibrant members of the parrot family, are known for their striking, colorful plumage and playful personalities. Native to Australasia, these birds are predominantly found in rainforest, coastal bush, and woodland areas. Lorikeets are unique among parrots for their brush-tipped tongues, adapted for feeding on nectar and soft fruits. They exhibit a social behavior, often seen in noisy flocks, which adds to their charm. Their diet and social interactions make them fascinating subjects of study and beloved pets.

Gorillas and Buffaloes are VERY Hard To Photograph Because Of Their Monochromatic Coloring. I Got Lucky  Here.

Gorillas demonstrate once again the positive role that a zoo can play in protecting species of animals that otherwise would be lost to the world.

Gorillas, the largest primates on Earth, are distinguished by their immense strength and gentle nature, residing primarily in the forests of central Sub-Saharan Africa. These magnificent creatures live in tight-knit family groups led by a silverback male. Despite their intimidating appearance, gorillas are mostly herbivorous, feeding on fruits, leaves, and shoots. Classified into two species—Eastern and Western Gorillas—with several subspecies, they face critical threats from habitat loss, poaching, and disease. Consequently, all gorilla subspecies are listed as either Endangered or Critically Endangered on the IUCN Red List, making their protection a global conservation priority to prevent their extinction.
