Boulderites Can Shop For Warmth!
Our super-cold Boulder weekend weather suggests an activity that many of us are quite adept at. SHOPPING! Wandering a warm mall or an interesting single store can be warm and interesting, and with some discipline, not too expensive.
Yelp guides us to a list of shopping meccas, ranging from malls to individual stores.
1. Pearl Street Mall requires no introduction. Blocks of Flagship Stores, interesting shops, food of all types, and a gorgeous surrounding makes the Pearl Street Mall a go-to shopping destination.
2. Flatirons Crossing is a huge facility including movie theaters, a WIDE range of stores, hotels, and more.
3. 29th Street used to be the Crossroads Mall, located at 28th and Canyon Blvd. The 29th Street Mall is a cornucopia of interesting and necessary goods ranging from watches to wearables, rings to rhinoceroses, (stuffed) and people everywhere to watch while you walk and stay warm.
4. Cedar and Hyde Mercantile 2015 10th Street, a treat for clothing and accessories
5. Front Range Mercantile Indoor Flea Market presents, as does Lafayette Flea Market, the hoped-for incredible variety offered by Flea Markets.
6. Lafayette Flea is a classic Flea Market with individual “booths” and an eclectic assortment of things we cannot live without.
7. Village at the Peaks is Longmont’s LARGE shopping center and theaters.
8. Bliss features cards, stationary, and more. Interesting shopping here.
9. ARES Thrift Store One bag full for $15 is too much fun!!!10. Sweet Ruckus is a cornucopia of interesting gifts
SO stay warm, set a budget, and have a blast with the Boulder Valley’s amazing shopping presentations. Did I say STAY WARM?
