“Niwot’s Curse” is the common Boulder phrase. Chief Niwot. Southern Arapaho-Cheyenne Chief of Boulder is to have said that. Was Boulder’s air included in Niwot foresight? There is a good argument to be made that he probably expressed sadness at the Magic Valley becoming polluted. Then, by dirty air in the winter from temperature inversion. Now by a combination of factors including industrial and auto sources compounded by the inversion, extending more to year around.
