Boulder’s Art Fest: Crazy Wood Grain And Sculptures Join the Lineup!
Crazy wood grain creations by Mark Kessler were happily on display at the Boulder Art Fair. His use of hardwoods is truly astonishing! He creates these masterpieces using only the natural colors of the wood. Zebra Wood, canary wood, and more are used for their magnificent grain and color.
The precision of his work will induce envoy in anyone who has cut wood with a saw. I have done enough woodwork to know that I’m glad it is him doing the creating and not me!
I can turn a pen on a lathe. Lining up the grain of TWO pieces of wood is a challenge at which I struggle to succeed. Mark Kessler can be reached at (970) 566 4461.
AnaBessey Peralta Cassidy out of Sante Fe is responsible for the creation of what I call “Joy Woman.” Both AnaBessey and this sculpture scream “joy!”
