With its icy blue eyes and sleek coat gleaming in the sunlight, this Husky epitomizes the vibrancy and energy of Boulder’s dog-loving community. Valmont is just one of the many dog parks scattered across Boulder, a city often referred to as a dog’s paradise, where nearly one in three residents has a furry companion. Getting this shot was no easy feat—our photographers had to keep up with this high-energy Husky as it darted across the park, chasing playmates and bounding with uncontainable excitement. It’s moments like these that show why Boulder is the ultimate haven for dogs and their humans alike.
