Boulder’s Halloween Candy Alternatives: A Shopping List!!!

Boulder’s Halloween Candy Alternatives

Boulderites might be used to giving out candy on Halloween, but is that who we really are?? Boulder has MANY Halloween Candy Alternatives! I respectfully suggest that giving out 100% sugar treats, while well received by most kids, are not truly in tune with the health-oriented diet-conscious Boulder population.

That thought led me to come up with a list of some candy alternatives for Halloween. We like to have a fire pit in the driveway and hot cider on the front deck for trick-or-treaters. We’ve had everything from freezing snow to WARM nights over the past decades in Boulder to accompany our Halloween. We have skipped the fire pit some years, and the hot cider is always a huge hit!

But candy alternatives? YOU BET!!!

Consider this list as both a list of suggestions and as a list to generate additional ideas.
