Matson Carver was born in Larkspur, California. He came to Boulder four years ago hoping to meet new people, explore new terrain, and find a place he could call home. While Matson’s heart lies in California, he is happy to admit that Boulder has exceeded his expectations as one of the coolest places he has ever visited. In Matson’s final year in Boulder, he has tried to truly explore all that Colorado has to offer. In the Spring and Summer of 2015, Matson visited as many lakes and swimming holes as he could find in the mountains of Colorado. Needless to say, they did not disappoint!

Fun fact about Matson – while he loves to explore, his favorite exploration of all is finding the best places to eat around Pearl Street!
