I could tell Mike was going to have a strong character from the moment I saw him. He was standing behind his hot dog stand on Pearl Street talking tirelessly to each one of his customers. On top of those conversations, Mike was constantly engaged with two of his buddies that had also set up shop with him. Except those two gentlemen just seemed to be keeping him company for the mean time. I introduced myself to Mike and the other two gentlemen asking if I could have a moment of their time. They all happily agreed and immediately engaged me about what I was there to do. I had more or less just jumped into the rapid-fire conversation. Mike was cracking jokes left and right while still engaging customers at the same time. To be honest, I couldn’t catch him at rest for a photo. So, if you get a chance, stop by and say hi.
