Faces of Boulder: The World Traveler Who Found Home at CU

Some people arrive in Boulder chasing the mountains. Others come for the education. And then there are those whose journeys span continents before they ever glimpse the Flatirons.

Juliette is one of those people.

Originally from the East Coast, Juliette’s path to Colorado was anything but ordinary. Before settling along the foothills of Boulder, she had already lived in Ukraine and the Dominican Republic — experiences that shaped not only her worldview but her deep appreciation for culture, community, and connection.

With a degree in Strategic Communications and minors in business and religious studies from the University of Colorado, Juliette blends intellect with curiosity. Her academic background reflects the same layered perspective she brings to life — understanding how people communicate, how organizations function, and how belief systems shape the human experience.

But what truly defines Juliette isn’t just where she has lived — it’s how she lives.

She spends her days exploring new places and getting to know new faces, drawn to the stories behind the smiles. Travel taught her adaptability. Ukraine taught her resilience. The Dominican Republic offered warmth and vibrancy. And Boulder? Boulder offered balance.

Nestled against the foothills, Boulder became more than just a stop on the map. It became a grounding place — a space where nature, community, and intention intersect.

Passionate about yoga, long walks beneath open skies, good tea, and even better company, Juliette embodies the quiet confidence that so many in Boulder admire. She carries a global perspective yet chooses to live locally — engaged, present, and curious.

In a town known for attracting people from around the world, Juliette represents the very essence of Boulder’s spirit: educated, worldly, thoughtful, and rooted in nature.

From East Coast beginnings to international living and finally to the University of Colorado, her journey reflects something many in Boulder understand deeply — sometimes you have to travel far to discover where you truly belong.

And for Juliette, that place is here, beneath the Colorado sun, with the Flatirons watching quietly overhead.
