Noyes’ goal is to eventually win the world yo-yo competition. He has been doing this art for ten years, starting when he was only twelve years old!
Noyes has Aspergers and he says that he loves the yo-yo because he gets to work with his hands. Yo-yoing has allowed him to open up and start conversations with people-something that is hard for him.
Noyes is a spiritual soul. “I like Shambhala and the Dao De Jing.” he says.
“Boulder reminds me of home,” he says, “but Boulder needs to practice it’s mindfulness and slow down.”
Noyes will be performing at the Fairy Festival here in Boulder tomorrow–make sure to stop by and watch his incredible yo-yoing!
