Part of our new and temporary reality is the search for safe, distant ways to get fresh air, sun and exercise. Fortunately, Boulder boasts hundreds of miles of biking trails, which can be found on this fantastic guide!

The current stay-at-home from Governor Polis order does allow for outdoor exercise including biking and hiking, but it is important to adhere to the 6ft rule and be very cognizant of your personal hygiene and to not touch your face.

If you’re itching for a bike ride, but don’t own a bicycle, Boulder B-cycle provides a great alternative! Here is a message from Boulder B-cycle:

Please stay home! But if you do have a necessary outing or just want to take a break from your four walls and cruise (safe distance!) the 300 miles of bikeways in Boulder, we are here for you:

+  Biking is exempt from the state COVID19 order and provides mental & physical health

+  Biking is one of the safest, affordable and healthy transportation options out there
