Father’s Day weekend has arrived! Treat yourself and dad to some particularly special events going on in and around Boulder. It is safe to go outside–I repeat–Summer is here!!! The events of this weekend will guarantee that no one will be forced to spend one moment indoors–show that special guy that you know how to celebrate!
Saturday, June 20
Grab your sunhat for the Longmont Symphony Guild’s 38th Annual Festival of Flowers. Alongside an array of beautiful locally grown flowers on display will be various outdoor decor available for viewing and enjoying within four gardens.
The Master Gardener who owns a home on the grounds of the tour will also be on hand to answer any questions from the public. Full details, along with tickets for purchase, are available at www.longmontsymphony.org

Location: 1848 Wasach Drive, Longmont.
Apply a second coat of sunscreen and head down to Pearl Street Mall for the International Dance Festival. First dance of the day will be in the public square, and the planned events include various demonstrations and performances from various countries and cultures from around the world. Participation from the public is expected and strongly encouraged! Different vendors will be on hand selling internationally influenced items and offering samples to attendees. Saturday night includes a scheduled performance by the Barbelfish Balkan Band.

Sunday, June 21-Father’s Day!
Saddle up with dad for the Getaway for Father’s Day, a western-themed BBQ.
All your favorites will be grilled up along with dessert and summer drinks. There will be a DJ on hand for karaoke, as well as horseback rides and some western games. Trail and wagon rides will be available for an additional fee.
