Throughout her journey, Summer has been an advocate for Sustainable Development Goal 13: Climate Action. She co-founded Dream Tank with her brother, mother and a group of leaders in Boulder, which supported the incubation of Story Architects, a film production company, where she and her partner created Youtube Shows and produced films that raise awareness and inspire action on climate change. Her dedication to empowering children and inspiring them to make a difference is unwavering.

At the age of 11, Summer used her film production company to shed light on the importance of protecting owls and their habitats. Her advocacy efforts led to a change in the law, providing greater protection for these magnificent creatures and their ecosystems.
As a student at Fairview High School, Summer fearlessly spoke up at the BVSD board meeting after a big scare at her school last fall, advocating for enhanced school safety and security measures. Her unwavering commitment to the well-being of her peers and community is commendable.
