Yesterday the world learned of the tragic death of comedian Robin Williams, age 63. His work, spanning across 5 decades, touched the lives of millions, particularly the Boulder community. His career began in the late 70s show, “Mork and Mindy”, which took place in Boulder. This renowned house, located at 1619 Pine St., just a few blocks from the Pearl Street Mall, is a favorite Boulder site, especially among fans of the 1970s comedy “Mork and Mindy.” It was the residence of the character Mindy. “Mork & Mindy” was a popular sitcom in the late 1970’s.
