There is a great respect and appreciation for the public land here in Colorado, and the majority of Colorado voters in 2016 “opposed efforts to turn national public lands over to the state.” (Conservation Colorado 2016). This is Dave but the neighborhood kids refer to the friendly local as “D.L.” It was by pure accident that this Baltimore, MD native landed here 11 years ago as he was aiming for Estes Park; however, Dave quickly fell in love with our town and Boulder became his home.
