Boulder Reflects Upon Waneka Lake Park: Morning Light, Calm Water!

Waneka Lake Park has never failed me. Every time I visit I find something of beauty to photograph. This morning was no exception. The reflection of trees and tall grass on the calm water, some with the Front Range in the background, caught my eye today. The sculptures at the boat house dock and area also got my attention.

Nautilus Shell sculpture  of an ammonite fossil has a plethora of mathematical meanings ranging from Fibonacci sequences to trigonometry functions and more.

A serene morning at Waneka Lake, where the calm waters reflect the sky and the towering Flatirons stand guard in the distance. The boathouse, nestled in greenery, seems to float upon the water’s glassy surface, a quiet sanctuary amidst nature’s mirrored beauty.

Nature’s artistry lies in its patterns—etched in time and spirals of life. This sculpture at Waneka Lake Park serves as a reminder of nature’s persistent beauty, swirling its way into the present from a time long past. In its coiled perfection, it echoes the rhythms of the water and wind, forever turning.
