Meet Spencer!

Spencer is a Boulder native who is studying Political Science at CU.  With the hype of the 2016 election brewing, Spencer has put his knowledge and passion to the test by joining the Buffs for Bernie group on campus as the organizing director. This organization provides opportunities for students to get engaged in politics and understand more about the candidates and their views.  Open to any political affiliation, Buffs for Bernie hosted a viewing party last night for the first Democratic Debate! With a friendly and open atmosphere, students were encouraged to come watch and discuss the hot topics in order to hopefully inspire people to vote next fall. Spencer hopes that events like this will inspire millennials to feel passionately about issues and go to the polls and take full advantage of their civic duty!
