Meet Ella, Paul and Clara!

On the most amazing sunny Colorado day, I met Paul as he pushed two of his four kids on the swings at one of Boulder County’s beautiful parks. As are most of the residents here, Paul was super friendly and chatted openly as he played with his sweet girls.

Paul and his wife moved from Oregon 18 years ago after college and have since made a home and are raising their family in Lafayette where they homeschool their children ages six, seven, ten and thirteen. They love the community here and enjoy visiting the museums, hiking and sledding together as a family. Paul works in IT and his wife practices Chinese Medicine in addition to teaching their kids each day.

As the girls climbed a rock wall with their dad’s help, we talked food. This family lives an organic lifestyle, Paul says cooking can be a lot of work for a family of 6 but its obvious that it is a labor of love as he fondly speaks about how much time they spend in the kitchen.

Ella, Paul and Clara, thank you so much for letting me on on all your fun at the park today, I really enjoyed meeting you!
