“At least once a year, I try to go someplace that I have never been before. I love Boulder… it is and always will be my home-base. But there is nothing quite like exploring a city you’ve never been to, and getting to know complete strangers whose culture is different than yours. It’s important to me, though, to be a traveler and not a tourist. I don’t want to spend my trips blinded by my selfie-stick or so engrossed with posting my updates on social media that I forget to enjoy what’s right in front of me. So yeah, that’s my advice to the world: Travel. Make new memories, and make new friends. Go someplace that scares you, and if you can, go it alone. I promise you’ll learn so, so much about yourself!”
