Four Great Boulder Trails you Didn’t Know Existed Until Now

January 5th, 2023

You owe it to yourself to gaze upon the beautiful landscape around Boulder, and the best way to do that is to start exploring some trails. Marshall Mesa Loop Marshall Mesa Loop is a great hiking trail to start with. It’s an easy hike, only 3.3 miles, and it gives you a brilliant view of the Flatirons. This is the kind of trail that you would see on a postcard and say, “Wow, this looks like a pretty cool place, I would probably enjoy walking around there.” This is also a dog-friendly trail, so your four-legged companion can also join you on your outing here. The trail also has seen its fair... Read More

The Mystery and Majesty of Boulder’s Saddle Rock Trail

January 27th, 2022

Gregory Canyon’s trailhead has seen better days. Currently, it’s actually in the process of seeing better days, because construction vehicles are finally beginning to rebuild the road that was destroyed in last year’s floods. I hadn’t been in the Gregory Canyon area since before Boulder’s big flooding incident, so this road was quite a shock to me, but it was merely foreshadowing what was yet to come on the trail. One of his dreams is to be able to take groups out climbing  in Colorado’s best climbing spots.  Read More

This was Jonah’s first time climbing outdoors, catching a glimpse of what the rock’s in Boulder taste like. He has never done much climbing before, but due to the friendliness of the rock climbing community and the nature of climbing itself, he’s hooked. Even coming from a strong basketball background, he was still fascinated by Colorado’s  rock formations when he moved to Colorado.  Read More

Check Out Boulder Canyon’s New Color Pallette

October 8th, 2014

For anyone who’s been sitting under a rock, the Colorado greenery is slowly turning into reds and oranges and yellows. It’s a prime time to explore the outdoors, and with the weather being so temperate, there couldn’t be a better time to hike a few more trails before it gets too chilly. I biked up Boulder Canyon last weekend, and the beautiful colored trees made it a real treat. The Boulder Canyon trail can be accessed by traveling west on the Boulder Creek path. It goes along the highway for a short period, but then it starts following alongside a beautiful river. In fact,... Read More
