There is a great respect and appreciation for the public land here in Colorado, and the majority of Colorado voters in 2016 “opposed efforts to turn national public lands over to the state.” (Conservation Colorado 2016). It may be hard to believe there’s only two weeks left in March, although it has been feeling a lot like spring already.
