It was Couch Potato Heaven as the NFL put on a show during last weekend’s Divisional Playoffs. Cincinnati’s Joe Burrow survived being sacked nine times as the Bengals upset Tennessee 19-16. San Francisco blocked a Green Bay punt late in the game on their way to a 13-10 win in Lambeau. The Los Angeles Rams completed a deep pass to Cooper Kupp to avoid another Tom Brady comeback in winning 30-27 over Tampa Bay. Kyrie Irving is hardly the first professional athlete to refuse to be vaccinated. Aaron Rodgers has stumbled through most of the NFL season answering questions about the subject. Novak Djokovic can’t get into Australia after refusing to get his shots. Lamar Jackson, Bradley Beal, Kirk Cousins, and apparently Antonio Brown, all have refused to get vaccinated. But Irving’s situation is a little different. The Brooklyn Nets star has never given a clear reason for why he has chosen not to get vaccinated, explaining it as a personal decision. Sports are Back! – Well, Almost

For a moment it was if sports were all the way back.  Large galleries followed golfers around Torrey Pines at the US Open, NBA playoff games were being played with crowds at full capacity, and UFC Fight Night was no longer at Fight Island off the coast of Dubai, but rather, Treasure Island off the Strip in Las Vegas.
