Let’s open with an early sunrise picture, and then progress to Longs a little later in the morning. I have observed that even after 49 years of seeing Longs Peak and the front range/divide, it never looks the same. The light changes. The clouds change. Longs the LONG way!

Longs Peak from the Scenic Route, Lyons to Estes Park Longs Peak overlooks Boulder like a giant guardian towering from on high, looking down from Rocky Mountain National Park It looks different every day, every hour of every year and from every angle.
