Elsa Sroka is a Colorado native from a large family that shares the love of art and design. Mostly self-taught, Elsa continues to fine tune her skills and experiment with the constant flow of new ideas. Sally Elliot is a local painter with an illustrious career spanning over four decades. She was a founding member of the Front Range Women in the Visual Arts in 1987, and helped produce visual arts, music, and theatre productions throughout the state, including a major anniversary exhibition for the Boulder Museum of Contemporary Art in 2000.   On Friday the people of Boulder were treated to a memorable night of music, spoken word, and social activism. The Boulder Theatre was sold out and packed to the rafters. A large banner bearing the word RESILIENT in big black letters hung over the stage. Singer Lyla June and fiddle player Lydia Violet opened up the night.
