Friendship looks a little furrier in Boulder.

Today’s Boulder’s Dogs of the Day features three best friends enjoying a beautiful Colorado day together. With bright eyes, wagging tails, and one pup proudly carrying a leash in its mouth, this trio looks like they’re ready for their next big adventure.

Boulder is truly one of the most dog-loving cities in America. It’s common to see dogs hiking trails, splashing in creeks, playing fetch in open fields, and making new friends around town. For water-loving dogs, Coot Lake and sections of Boulder Creek can be popular places for a splash, though owners should always check current leash rules and seasonal water conditions.
