December 17th, Star Wars fans will be out in droves, worshiping at movie theaters as The Force Awakens. Cinebarre Boulder 11 and Century Theatre will be teeming with longing anticipation. Elation and trepidation intermingle as those who have not yet seen the latest installment wait for their chance to see the something they have been yearning for, for over a decade. They will not be met with disappointment.
If Star wars does not hold your favor, and Rockabilly appeals to your sensibilities, Reverend Horton Heat is playing at the Fox Theater December 17th. They will be joined by The Bellrays, and Lords of Altamont. I recommend wearing your dancing shoes and swinging the night away.
For aspiring writers, filmmakers, or simply just fans, the Boulder Theater is hosting: An evening with Kevin Smith, Dec 17, 2015. He is promoting his latest book Tough Sh*t: Life Advice from a Fat, Lazy Slob Who Did Good. Join him in this behind the scenes look into the his life, and how he got to where he is now.

Avery Brewing Co., Boulder Beer Odell Brewing, Oskar Blues Brewery and Upslope Brewing will be bringing out their beer for the charity of the brewery’s choice. The first to tap their keg wins the donation for their charity. You can check out their respective charities at their websites. The brewers will be paired with live music and the spirit of giving.
