Nick is in love with the ski and snowboard industry. Ever since moving to Boulder a couple of years ago, he has loved the laid back culture and positive vibes that surround the ski and snowboard world. When Nick was hired by Deviation, a Denver based ski and snowboard company, he told me he couldn’t have been happier. He became a sales rep for them and was delighted with the pleasure of representing Deviation at the 2017 SIA Snow Show. Nick obviously showed a passion for the sport and a bond with those who practice it. He was more than happy to tell me all about Deviation’s missions and even share his favorite powder stashes. Matthew Hennigan Lead Photojournalist for Faces of Boulder

Matt is convinced that moving to Boulder to attend CU has been the best decision of his life. He fell in love with Colorado and discovered a new passion for snowboarding when he first visited the state in 2010. Matt is now a third year student studying technology, arts and media with hopes to turn his passion for photography into a career. You can find Matt behind the lens shooting for the CU Independent or on the court setting for CU Men’s Volleyball if he doesn’t run into you somewhere downtown. Upon graduating from CU, Matt plans to travel the globe as a photojournalist in hopes to quench his thirst for adventure.
