An advantage to being a columnist for AboutBoulder is that I answer only to my boss, and I AM my boss! Today, taking advantage of my having my hands on the controls, I can use this platform of a million and a half people to wish my darling wife the happiest of anniversaries!

What could be more special than dinner at Boulder’s premier restaurant, the Flagstaff House! In the spirit of the event and in the spirit of the Flagstaff, I am going to dust off my tuxedo, polish my shoes, knock the cobwebs off my manners, put away my jeans, and with that proper costume we’ll head up the hill to what I know will be an event so special that only the Flagstaff House can do it justice. Boulder is home to this Colorado cornucopia castle of culinary cuisine without equal!
