Faces of Boulder – Abby

May 18th, 2017

Meet Abby! Abby came to Boulder from New York for the fresh air and the healthy lifestyle Boulder cultivates; what’s kept her here are the many friends she’s made, the concerts, and her newfound independence. Meet Brannen, Daniel, Carter, Thomas, Johnny, and Dennis (pictured left to right), the six-member band of FutureBirds. This indie rock band started their career back in 2008 out of Athens, GA and ended up playing at a local show this past Friday and Saturday night. The band is known for their unique country-rock infused sound and high energy shows; those qualities definitely showed this weekend. After the show, Carter, the guitarist/vocalist/multi-instrumentalist, shared a little about himself and the band. “I’m so happy we’re here and I’m excited to see where we’ll... Read More
