Have you guys tried the Post Brewing Company’s new location in Boulder? I have! And, it’s now one of my favorite hangouts in town. Hot Chicken Loves Cold Beer, what more is needed to entice you?! The poultry and pilsners are calling your name! Founded in 1979, on a farm just northeast of town, Boulder Beer has come a long way since it planted its roots in the Boulder Valley 38 years ago. As Colorado’s First Craft Brewery, Boulder Beer quickly took off, giving beer lovers an extraordinary change. After expanding their product, the brewmasters realized that they needed to expand their space as well, moving to the Pub on Wilderness Place in 1994. At this point, I realize it’s rather passé, but I just have to talk about this month’s unusual weather one more time. Notably, the daily gloomy forecasts remind me very vividly of my time spent in the city of Amsterdam. As a young and impressionable collegian, I can’t imagine a better crash course in beer culture.
