The Buffs Make it to a Bol Game

December 4th, 2018

The Colorado football team may have disappointed with their late season collapse, but that doesn’t have to mean the absence of a Bol game.  A game that features University of Oregon’s Freshman sensation, Bol Bol that is.  While the basketball game doesn’t take place until February 2nd, the hype surrounding Bol is turning into must-see-tv. Listed at 7’3, Bol is averaging 21 points, 10 rebounds, and 3 blocks a game in what most assume will be a one-and-done season at Oregon.  But if you’re asking whether Bol will be a “project” at the next level, it’s time for a history lesson. The whispers began after the Colorado Buffaloes fell apart in the Oregon State game.  Those same whispers turned to shouts after the Buffs dropped their sixth game in a row, after a 30-7 drubbing by 19th ranked Utah at Folsom Field. Thou Shenault Kill – Well, the Sophomore receiver... Read More

CU Cross Country Races to the Top

November 5th, 2013

Colorado Cross Country has done it again. On Saturday, November 2nd, the Buffaloes hosted the Pac-12 Cross Country Championships for the first time since 2002 and represented their home turf justly by coming out swinging (or sprinting, rather). The weather was just right for running on Saturday, with cool temperatures and very little wind as thousands of fans poured onto Coal Creek Golf Course in Louisville to cheer on the racers. Among the audience were many of the CU alumni who contributed in the past to establish Colorado as one of the premier running programs in the nation. Olympians, NCAA... Read More
