Boulderites Still Taking Warm Weather Vacations?

April 22nd, 2024

It’s about the time of year when Boulderites vacation by staying right here in the magnificent valley. It is still possible for us to another snow down here at mile high, and nights on Key West can still be rather cool. Neither will be true for long as summer rapidly approaches. People gather near Mallory Square to watch the sunsets. Schooners are chartered to sail back and forth parallel to the shore as the... Read More

The first, to me, looks like a person, eyebrows, looking at us and makes me laugh each time I look at it. Lensworth Pic Orchids, belonging to the Orchidaceae family, are a mesmerizing and diverse group of flowering plants known for their exotic beauty and astonishing... Read More

Chicago’s famous bridges in the middle of town over the Chicago River Check out the Lionel Trains  “O” gauge on Amazon. The World’s Most Famous Railcar! Passing through the foothills that back Boulder, snaking up in altitude, and offering views of Gross Reservoir that are beyond compare, this journey reveals the less-seen back sides of familiar scenes to the north. Christmas Break!

December 16th, 2016

Finals are over and its almost time for Christmas! This year CU has a slightly longer Christmas vacation than previous years. We have an entire month off this time, we go back to school January 17th. Having a whole month off sounds fab because I hate doing school work and love sleeping in and just hanging out all day. It’s also the last time that I will have this amount of time off to just do nothing before I have to enter the real world at the end of second semester. However, when I think about it, one month is a really long time when you have nothing planned, so I’ll have to keep myself busy.... Read More
