A Race That Celebrates Irish Tradition

The Lucky Leprechaun 5K pays tribute to the rich traditions of St. Patrick’s Day, a cultural and religious celebration honoring Ireland’s patron saint. Over the years, St. Patrick’s Day has transformed into a global party filled with parades, Irish music, dance, festive food, and, of course, plenty of green attire!

Here in Boulder, we’re bringing that same Irish spirit to the racecourse—so dress up in your luckiest green gear and run like you’re chasing a pot of gold!

After crossing the finish line, stick around for a true Irish celebration! We’ve lined up live entertainment and delicious post-race treats to make this a morning to remember.

• McTeggart Irish Dancers – Boulder’s talented Irish dance troupe, bringing traditional jigs and reels to life

All registered participants will enjoy a Savory Cuisines Catering Irish breakfast burrito—the perfect post-run treat. And since no St. Patrick’s Day celebration is complete without a pint of beer, each participant (21+) can choose a brew from Twisted Pine Brewing Company:
