1. Boulder Market in Central Park


11 am to 5 pm

At the Boulder Market you will find over 75 vendors with affordable visual art, handmade items, and unique treasures. In addition to shopping, there will be a live concert starting at noon.

2. Shane Smith & The Saints at Boulder Theater


Doors: 8 pm, show 9 pm

4-part harmony band Shane Smith & The Saints hail from Austin, Texas, and are making their Colorado appearance in Boulder. The five bandmates have performed across the country with a unique style that is all their own, equal parts a capella, country, and something else that’s not quite explainable.

3. Yard Game Day at North Boulder Park


1 pm to 6 pm

Presented by Boulder Fun n’ Stuff, come play board games or yard games such as corn hole, ladderball, washers, badminton, frisbee, croquet, beersbee, and bocce ball. All ages are welcome, so feel free to invite your friends and family.

4. Colorado Brazil Fest

08/09 to 08/11

On Friday, August 9th, Samba School’s Bateria Alegria and special guests Luciana Da Silva, Tânia Santiago, Bella Diva, Samba Colorado and Capoeira Canavial will be performing at 6:30 pm. On Sunday, August 11th, there will be an outdoor BBQ and Samba jam with food by Brazilian Catering.

5. Tantra Speed Dating at Alchemy of Movement


5:30 pm to 9 pm

Tantra speed dating is an unusual speed dating event with relaship skill and games including verbal dyads, dance, light partner yoga, and improv. Please arrive early to check in and receive your dating materials.



Kaylee was raised (but not *technically* born) in Colorado. She graduated from Regis University with a bachelor of arts in English. During her time at Regis she worked as a teaching assistant in a freshman classroom setting and in the writing center helping students on a variety of topics. While there, she discovered Cura Personalis, or care for the entire person, leading to her love of feminism and desire for equal rights for all. Kaylee is the managing editor for AboutBoulder, OnDenver, and a key member of the OnMetro team, launching this platform in cities across the United States.
